Popped amaranth makes for a delicious breakfast cereal, easy to digest and with most of the properties of amaranth available. It is easier to digest for some people. This is popped in the Garhwal village over a firewood stove and will have an additional smokey flavour

    It is suggested to toast this slightly and keep in an airtight container and use with milk or add nuts and dry fruit and eat as a snack. It goes really well if you mix with the Saveagram jaggery.
